도서 소개

사람은 육과 혼과 영으로 구성되었다는 삼분설을 성경의 원어를 중심으로 해석하고, 불의한 자의 영은 부활한 육과 혼과 다시 하나 되지 못한 채 하나님께 돌아간다는 결론을 내린다. 또한, 동성애, 자유의지, 창조론, 천년왕국에 관한 성경 본문을 살펴보고, 동성애는 죄악이며, 어거스틴이 주장했던 자유의지는 하나님의 절대주권과 예정을 비켜 갈 수 없다는 것, 창조는 역사적 사실이라는 것, 천년왕국에 들어갈 준비를 하며, 박해 속에서도 복음 전파를 지속해야 한다는, 말세를 살아가는 성도의 삶의 자세를 역설한다. 영어권 독자들을 위한 영문 본문도 함께 실었다.

저는 복음 메시지가 얼마나 단순한지, 심지어 어린이조차도 하나님과의 관계가 하나님의 아들 예수 그리스도와의 개인적인 관계를 통해 다시 바로잡힐 수 있다는 것을 이해할 수 있다는 사실에 놀랐습니다. 그리고 하나님이 누구이신지에 대한 무한한 복잡성과 인류를 구원하기 위한 포괄적인 계획이 그분의 말씀인 성경을 통해 우리에게 어떻게 계시되었는지에 놀랐습니다.

본문중에서

사람은 육체(flesh), 혼(soul), 그리고 영(spirit)로 구성됩니다. 한글 성경에서는 영과 혼에 대한 구분이 분명치 않아서 영혼이라는 단어로 대부분 혼용됩니다. 

반면, 히브리어 성경이나 헬라어 성경에서는 혼과 영에 대한 단어가 분명히 구분됩니다. 히브리어로 영은 (רוּחַ roo'-akh ; breath, wind, spirit)로 정의되고, 영은 (רוּחַ roo'-akh ; breath, wind, spirit)로 정의되고, 혼은 (נֶפֶשׁ neh'-fesh ; a soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion)으로 정의됩니다.

The human body is composed of flesh, soul, and spirit. In the Korean Bible, the distinction between spirit and soul is not clear, so the word soul/spirit is mostly used interchangeably. On the other hand, in the Hebrew Bible and the Greek Bible, the words for soul and spirit are clearly distinguished. In Hebrew, spirit is defined as (רוּחַ roo'-akh ; breath, wind, spirit), and soul is defined as (נֶפֶשׁ neh'-fesh ; a soul, living being, life, self, person, desire, passion, appetite, emotion).

마태복음 10장 28절을 삼분설로 해석하면, 악인의 부활 후 지옥에 가는 존재는 몸(flesh/body)과 혼(soul)입니다.

악인의 영은 어디로 가는 것일까요?

If we interpret Matthew 10:28 in trichotomy, the entities that go to hell after the resurrection of the wicked are the flesh/body and the soul.

이런 관점에 볼 때, 예수님의 영생의 말씀은 사람의 귀로 듣는다 해도 육과 혼이 아닌 영으로 받아들여져야 합니다. 인생에 주신 영이 거듭난 후에야 하나님의 말씀인 성경을 들을 때 영적으로 깨달아지고 그의 육과 혼도 영의 깨달음을 따라가게 됩니다. 요한복음 6장 63절은 그래서 혼과 영의 구분을 가져야 제대로 이해할 수 있습니다.

From this perspective, even if we hear Jesus’ words of eternal life with our human ears, we must accept them with our spirit, not with our flesh and soul. Only after the spirit given to us is reborn, when we hear the Bible, the word of God, will we become spiritually enlightened, and our flesh and soul follow the enlightenment of the spirit. John 6:63 can therefore only be properly understood if we distinguish between soul and spirit.-p.52-3

이 세상의 군주들은 신이 아니고 사람일 뿐입니다. 그들이 부리는 권세의 수단(여기서는 말들)도 육체의 한계를 가질 뿐, 영이 아닙니다. 우리가 의지할 분은 오직 창조주 하나님뿐입니다.

The rulers of this world are not gods, but mere men. The means of power(horses here) they exercise are not spiritual, but have physical limitations. The only one we can truly rely on is the Creator God.-p.90

하나님의 영은 무소부재하셔서 천국이든 지옥이든 어느 곳이든 존재하십니다.

앞서 설명 드린 대로 구약 시대의 히브리인들이 비록 명확하지는 않았어도 욥의 시대에 벌써 죽음 후의 부활에 대해 어렴풋하게나마 알고 믿었습니다. 육체와 혼 그리고 영의 연합체로 이 세상에서 살다 죽은 후, 의인과 악인의 가는 길이 다르다고 믿었고, 부활을 믿었으며, 그 후의 심판에 대해서도 희미하게나마 바라보았습니다(요 8:56).

God’s Spirit is omnipresent and exists everywhere, whether in heaven or hell.

As I explained earlier, the Hebrews of the Old Testament era, already in the time of Job, knew and believed in the resurrection after death, even if understanding was vague. They lived in this world as a union of body, soul, and spirit, and believed that the paths of the righteous and the wicked were different after death, and they believed in the resurrection. They also looked ahead to the judgment after that(Jn 8:56).-p.158

전도와 선교의 시작과 역사는 사도행전뿐만 아니라 수많은 역사의 기록이 있으니 그것들을 참고하면 되고, 필자는 이 책을 통해 기술 선교에 대해 소개하고 현재 이뤄지는 기술 선교 사역을 알려드려서 이 사역에 동참하려는 독자들의 참여를 격려하려고 합니다.

Through this book, the author introduces technology missions and informs readers about missions technology work currently being done, and encourages readers who wish to participate in this work.

The technological missions we are currently carrying out are the development and distribution of gospel broadcasting and receivers, the distribution of sermon voice recognition-translation-synthesis technology, and the distribution of hearing aid technology. We pray that there will be more opportunities for technology missions in the future so that we can
